Vision"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is the vision?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each improvement initiative should support the organization\u2019s goals and objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first step of the continual improvement model is to define the vision of the initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What exactly are we trying to accomplish?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is going to provide the context for all of our subsequent decisions and links all of our individual actions to the organization\u2019s vision for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This vision is going to come from your top leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It should come from the C-suite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You need to understand their role in relation to achieving the overall organization\u2019s vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The expected value from this vision should also be agreed upon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That way, everyone knows what they are getting into.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By understanding the vision, we know what direction we should be moving towards with all of our improvements, who we are going to be helping, who is going to help us, and how the improvement will affect the organization as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.
